Errant Bodies

Since 1995, Errant Bodies has been developing publishing projects, supporting critical thinking and creative projects in sound and spatial practices, community initiatives, poetic and experimental writing, and political thought. Originally based in Los Angeles, and as part of the writing and performance communities of the 90s, Errant Bodies relocated to Berlin in 2007.

Besides focusing on publishing, and the nurturing of book projects, Errant Bodies also supports situated research, collective activities, and collaborative projects with a view towards expressions of solidarity and mutuality, and poetic world making. This includes its partner institution, Errant Sound project space in Berlin, which organizes exhibitions, performances and projects on sound art and experimental music.

Errant Bodies is organized by Brandon LaBelle, in collaboration with a range of partners, including Luis Guerra, Octavio Camargo, fliegende Teilchen Berlin, Lily Errant, and Riccardo Benassi.
